Facilities

Nhill Lutheran School is blessed with great facilities and plenty of space.  Apart from our inside learning spaces we have a large oval, hardcourt areas which are great for all sorts of ball sports, sheltered playground, a sheltered sand play area, water feature, cubby building area and more.

Our mini-farm is much loved by our students and they learn to care for animals.  The animals change from time to time but you may see chickens, guinea pigs, ducks, budgies, and maybe a lamb or goat.  Our Science Room is home to green tree frogs, fish, a bearded dragon, and Peter Rabbit.

Each student has an iPad to show what they know in different and unique ways, catering for individual learning needs and styles.  The Seesaw app is used by students, staff and parents to share learning, and other technology, such as Bee Bots and touch screen computers, enhances the learning.

Our classrooms and learning spaces are spacious and intentionally designed to promote the important skills of collaboration, communication, problem solving, agility, and more.  In addition to our classrooms we have a Science Room, Art Room, Kitchen, Library and Computer Room, Multipurpose Hall, and many outdoor learning spaces.
